Featherbrite LED UV Bird Bulb Plus Regular Socket Adapter

NEW Featherbrite UV bulb for birds; should be used along with the Featherbrite Full Spectrum LED daytime bulb for the best results for your parrots. CFL bulbs are no longer being manufactured, but this bulb is the best of the best for your pet bird. Bulb is 400 nanometers and 1.5 watt which is a perfect low dose UV bulb as it eliminates the worry of "how long to use the bulb". Caretakers have the option to leave the LED UV bulb on all day and all night and use use as a moonlight. The bulb is a blue light so it is soothing for night fright. The LED UV bulb is to be used along with the 5500k LED full spectrum day bulb for optimal results. Used together, these bulbs are 8% UVA and .04% UVB. Featherbrite recommends replacing the UV bulb every 6 to 8 months. There is no mercury in this bulb which is good for the environment and 1.5 watts; inexpensive to operate. Has a candelabra base so if you would want to use in a standard lamp socket, ( a regular socket adapter included) Do not use with a dimmer.
